Jean François Marras
Il tenore Jean-François Marras, nato ad Ajaccio - Corsica (il padre veniva dalla Sardegna/Italia), ha iniziato a studiare canto all'età di 16 anni.
Jean-François Marras è entrato a far parte dell'Accademia Nazionale dell'Opera di Parigi nel settembre 2016 (2016-2019).
Durante la sua formazione ha cantato Bénédict (Béatrice et Bénédict), Nadir (Les Pêcheurs de Pearls), Lo Chevalier de La Force (Dialogues des Carmelites) e Il Principe Azzurro (Cendrillon), nonché Lechmere (Owen Wingrave von Britten), Momus e Lycurgue (Fêtes d'Hébé di Rameau), Hoffmann (Les Contes d'Hoffmann) e Alfredo (LaTraviata).
Jean-François Marras è stato ospite della televisione francese nel programma operistico di Eve Ruggeri “Un'estate in Guascogna”.
I suoi impegni recenti includono: il Principe in “Les Troyens” nel 2019 e Sir Bruno Roberton ne “I Puritani” all’Opéra Bastille nel 2021.
Lenski (Eugène Onegin) all'Opéra de Massy nel 2022 e Don José (Carmen) al Taverny Festival .
Nel 2023 ha cantato Don José all'Opéra Côté Choeur e nel 2024 vi ha debuttato il ruolo di Cavaradossi in "Tosca" (Puccini) e riprenderà il ruolo di Don José in una nuova edizione di "Carmen "(direttore: Olivier Debordes) con l'Opéra Éclaté per una tournée in Francia nel 2023/24. Il mese di Ottobre lo ha visto tra i protagonisti del concerto di Gala per i 30 anni dell'opera di Massy - Parigi. Attualmente è impegnato come Pollione in "Norma" in una Tourne in Spagna che tocca tra le altre le città di Cartagena, Saragoza, Valenzia, Cadiz ed altre.
Nel suo repertorio troviamo le parti per tenore solista dei Requiem di Verdi e Mozart nonché della Messa di Gloria di Puccini eseguiti con l'Orchestra Pau Pays de Béarn.

The tenor Jean-François Marras (33) born in Ajaccio - Corsica (father came from Sardinia/Italy), began studying singing at the age of 16.
Jean-François Marras joined the Paris National Opera Academy in September 2016 (2016-2019).

Jean-François Marras was a guest on French television in the Eve Ruggeri opera program “A Summer in Gascony”.
His recent and future engagements include: The Prince in "Les Troyens” in 2019 and Sir Bruno Roberton in “I Puritani” at the Opéra Bastille in 2021.
2022: Lenski/"Eugene Onegin" at the Opera de Massy/Paris and at Taverny Festival Don José ("Carmen").
2023 he sang Don José at the Opéra Côté e will also take Don José again in a new edition of Carmen (director: Olivier Debordes) with Opéra Éclaté for a tour of France in 2023–24. He take his debut there in 2024 in the role of Mario Cavaradossi from the opera "Tosca" (Puccini). October 2023 sees him among the protagonists of the Gala concert for the 30th anniversary of the Massy Opera - Paris. He is currently engaged as Pollione in "Norma" on a Tourne in Spain that touches the cities of Cartagena, Zaragoza, Valencia, Cadiz, among others.
His repertoire includes the solo tenor parts of the Requiems by Verdi and Mozart as well as Puccini's Messa di Gloria with the Pau Pays de Béarn Orchestra.
